The Bletchley Fellowship is excited to announce the launch of the Career Accelerator Fellowship, a new one-year work-integrated program designed for recent bootcamp and college graduates. Fellows in this program split their time each week between a paid apprenticeship and a professional education program, gaining new skills while applying them directly in the workplace.
The Career Accelerator Fellowship is designed for graduates who already have training and skills in one discipline, such as engineering or data science, and want to expand into another high-demand area like artificial intelligence. Fellows receive full tuition for their education program, plus a monthly living stipend, ensuring they can focus on learning and contributing without financial strain.
Our First Apprenticeship Partner
We are excited to welcome Flatiron as the first apprenticeship partner for the Career Accelerator Fellowship. Starting September 2025, Flatiron will offer two in-person apprenticeship opportunities:
Data Engineering Apprenticeship – New York City
- Who Can Apply: Recent data science bootcamp or college computer science graduates
- Requirements: In-person at least one day per week in NYC
- Structure: 20 hours per week on Flatiron’s Data Science Team plus enrollment in Flatiron School’s part-time Software Engineering program
- Benefits: Tuition fully covered plus a monthly living stipend
Software Engineering Apprenticeship – Columbia, SC
- Who Can Apply: Recent software engineering bootcamp or college computer science graduates
- Requirements: In-person at least one day per week in Columbia, SC
- Structure: 20 hours per week on Flatiron’s Engineering Team plus enrollment in Flatiron School’s part-time Data Science & AI program
- Benefits: Tuition fully covered plus a monthly living stipend
Our First Education Partner
In addition to serving as an apprenticeship partner, Flatiron School has joined the Career Accelerator Fellowship as an education partner. This means apprentices at any Career Accelerator Fellowship partner company can enroll in one of Flatiron School’s industry-leading bootcamps, with specializations in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
This partnership ensures Fellows have access to world-class technical training that complements their apprenticeship experience and prepares them for their next career move.
Looking Ahead: The Undergraduate Fellowship
Flatiron has also committed to joining the Bletchley Fellowship’s Undergraduate Fellowship as an apprenticeship partner beginning in January 2026. Through this flagship program, Fellows work toward their undergraduate degree while gaining three years of real-world industry experience.
